Researchers begin this
cycle with formulating the question that will drive their research.
Then they follow through the steps listed below. The research cycle
may be done many times. When the project is ready, then the researcher
may report out to an audience.
Questioning:
What
do I want to find out?
Planning:
What
are some sources of information?
Gathering:
Where
can I look for my information?
Sorting & Sifting:
How can
I use the information I have gathered?
Synthesizing:
What will
I create to show what I have learned?
Evaluating:
How will
I know that I did my job well?
