The KIDS program is a federally funded kindergarten program through
Title 1. KIDS stands for Kindergarten for Individual Developmental
Success and allows students to receive additional instructional time
at school.
Here at Roosevelt we have three KIDS programs taught by two teachers;
Mrs. Aarstol and Mrs. Craddock. The KIDS program has been at Roosevelt
for about twelve years. The program promotes academic and social
skills through building confidence in the student's ability to learn.
The
KIDS program gives a "boost" to our youngest students through
individual and small group instruction and interaction.
