Carnivorous Carnival by Lemony Snicket

If you like books about orphans, a villian, freaks, and a wolf named Chaboo, then
this is the book for you! The Baudelaire orphans lost their parents in a fire and
are now trying to escape from a villian named Count Olaf. He is trying to steal
their fortune!

Recommended for~ ages 10 and up

Goblins Don't Play Video Games by Debbie Dadey

This book is very funny. This book is about some kids who think their teacher
is a goblin. Also, this book is scary!

Rowan of Rin by Emily Rodda

Rowan of Rin is a great book because it is mixed with adventure and fantasy.
It turns scary, but fun. Rowan of Rin is about a young boy named Rowan who
goes on an adventure to save the village! Does he save his village? Read it and
find out!

The Two Towers by J.R. Tolkien

The Two Towers is the second of this trilogy. It is a fantasy/adventure that will
attract you like a magnet. Stay tuned for the last in the trilogy!

If you like books about a country getting freed, you will like this book! In this book
five animals go on a quest to help two animals. But the quest turns into a huge
adventure!

The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R. Tolkien

The Slippery Slope by Lemony Snicket

This book is about a kid who runs for president. He does it for a goof, but gets
further than that! Judson Moon doesn't want
to do it all that much, but he does
it for a friend.

Mickey and Me by Dan Gutman

Joe Stoshack's dad has been in a car accident. He tells Joe about a rare $75,000
Mickey Mantle card. Joe can use a baseball card to travel through time. He uses
the card to go meet Mickey Mantle, but something goes wrong. He is in the
wrong time and the wrong city!

Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone by J.K. Rowling

Do you like a mystery book? Then I suggest you read the book, Harry Potter and
the Sorceror's Stone
. It's mysterious and has things in it you wouldn't expect.

The Thief by Megan Turner

If you like middle age books with mythology mixed in, this is the best book ever.
Gen is forced by enemies to find Hemiathes's Gift, a stone that rewards the owner
with immortal life. Will Gen find the stone? (This book was Newbery award honored.)

In the book, Don't Tell Anyone

Miracles on Maple Hill by Virginia Sorenson

If you like this book you would like it because it is about a girl named Marly. She cares
about animals and her family makes maple syrup from trees.

This book is very funny. It is about a 13 year-old boy who becomes the President
of the United States. Also this book has a sequel.

The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke

If you like mystery or fantasy type books, this is the book for you. It's about a
detective's case to get two boys named Prosper and Bo. The kids soon have a story
of their own when they meet Hornet, Riccio, Mosca and Scipio, the Thief Lord.
I recommend this book.

This book is so cool because it is funny . If you like adventures, this book is for
you!

Kat Kong by Dav Pilkey

Three mice bring a dangerous cat back to a city called Mouseopolis. They bring
him to a show and he breaks loose!

Holes by Loius Sachar

Stanley Yelnets had been accused of stealing and the judge said that there was
a choice to go to camp or prison. Stanley goes to camp and encounters a yellow
spotted lizard. Will he survive at camp?

This book is about the history of this team and what positions they play. Also, it is
about how old the players are and how long they have played with the team.
