Junie B. Jones series by Barbara Parks

Junie B. Jones is a great series! You learn new words and there are lots of books
by Barbara Parker. There is a book about when Lucy meets a new boy and Junie
B. and she are best friends. They think that he is a criminal so they chase him. Lucy
gets mad and says to Junie B., "Don't steal my boyfriend!"


Recommended for~ 3rd Grade and up

Sasquatch by Roland Smith

If you like realistic books, you'll like this one! Dylan and his Dad are part of the
big foot research team. His Mom left for Egypt and won't be back untill next
week or month


Recommended for~ ages 9-11

The Knight in Screaming Armor (Choose Your Own Adventure) by R.L. Stine

Your two cousins, Chip and Abby, come to visit. They bring two suits of armor;
one being good and the other being bad. You open the bad one and get lost in a
different world. You escape and then suddenly you have the good armor on and
battle the evil armor. You win and everything goes back to normal.


Recommended for~ 3rd Grade and up

Charlotte's Web by E.B. White

In Charlotte's Web, Wilbur is a spring pig, but he was not killed. He was also in
trouble because he was going to be eaten. Charlotte saved him by making words
in her web. In the end, Charlotte dies and three of her children stay with Wilbur.


Recommended for~ 3rd Grade and up

Dork in Disguise by Carol Gorman

Jerry is a "dork" who has come to a new school and is trying to act cool. But he
falls in love with a girl named Cinnamon O'Brien. He writes her a poem and he
thinks that she might like him. The teacher looks at Jerry's file and asks if he would
like to join the science team. His friend, Brenda, helps him get noticed by Cinnamon,
but he ends up joining the team and hanging out with Brenda at the science fair
instead of Cinnamon.
