This book is about two boys. One of the boys owns a cupboard, but he does not know
anything about it. He really likes cupboards. Then one day he puts something in it and
after ten seconds he hears knocks and it's coming from the cupboard. "Who is it?" he
wonders. He opens the cupboard and something small is standing there. What is it?

Hatchet by Gary Paulsen

Hatchet is about a boy named Brian and he gets caught in an airplane crash. He just
salvages as much from the plane as he can.

how to survive in the wilderness. They get electrocuted so Brian has to help.

Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine

Ella Enchanted is a great book with a fairy tale twist! It's about a girl with a gift from
a fairy... more like a curse. The fairy is named Lucindia. Ella is desperate to meet her
and have the curse removed. But if she even does find her, will she lift the curse?

Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell

A little girl named Karana is trapped on an island with her brother. Her brother gets
killed by wild wolves. She has to live in caves and find homes where she is safe.
Will she ever get off the island or will she be there forever?

Weasel by Cynthia DeFelice

Weasel is about a boy and girl whose Mom has died. The Dad disappeared when he was
hunting. A long time ago the older boy heard his parents talking about a guy named Weasel

A Series of Unfortunate Events (series) by Lemony Snicket

These books are mystery-packed and full of adventure. I really recommend this series!
It is about the lives of Violet, Klass, and Sunny Baudelaire who are lonesome orphans.
They move from place to place fearing that Count Olaf might snatch them into his clutches.

Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe

They go on a boat ride and then sink. He finds a deserted island and then uses stuff from
the boat to save his life. In the end, he goes home.

Miss Hickory by Carolyn Bailey

Miss Hickory is a small woman made out of an apple stem and a hickory nut.
Because of winter, she has to move! Will she get her sap running?

This book is a great book! If you like funny and serious stories you will like
The Nose from Jupiter. This book is wacky too! I like this book and I hope you

Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are? by Dr. Seuss

This book is fantastic if you like Dr. Seuss! My favorite part is when the boy is running
through the forest of trees that eat pants. I would recommend this book to any age group.
